ISA TanTec was founded in 1995 and currently has 3 ultra-modern tanneries located in the USA, Vietnam and China. In 2016, Navis Capital Partners co-invested with ISA as a strategic partner to support the further growth ambitions of ISA Tantec. ISA Tantec is an eco-friendly leather manufacturer represented by the LITE (Low Impact to the Environment) Trademark. The concept was inspired by the US Energy Guide and European CO2 regulation and it defines a high standard of environmental responsibility in the manufacturing process.
Through the years, ISA Tantec has been globally recognized by the world’s top footwear brands as a supplier of high quality leathers, as well as an unrivaled reputation for reliability, service and outstanding corporate social responsibility.  To further develop our strategy, and to support new expanding markets, the subsidiaries ISA CutTec, ISA TrimTec and ISA BelTec were founded.
Our stringent internal quality systems, as well as sufficient capacity to handle the production needs of our partners, have earned us a GOLD AWARD in Saigon Tantec and Heshan Tantec in LWG audits while our facility in the USA scored a Silver Award in its first audit after only one year in operation.  Our tanneries are also ISO14001, ISO9001 and ECO2L certified.
